Welcome to the first installment of new releases from the time capsule. Back in the day when I had so much fury and frustration and thought for sure I'd end up with a molotov and a hand grenade in front of the white house. I am hella less an angsty anarchist now. Anyways, "I AM A CONQUISTADOR!! GIVE ME YOUR LAND!! MIXTAPE" was released about a year ago as a collection of songs that I started since the age of 15. Let me explain: While I was spending my growing up years in the South End of Seattle, I found my place kicking it with some OG's. [...]* with the rising gang management problem in Rainier Valley we needed to justify being three folks of color sharing a common signifier, brown skin. Let me give you some background, last year the city of Seattle passed a law that if three or more people carrying a signifier break a law, they are to be prosecuted as gang members, which is definite sentence multiplier.
