I met Daveed Diggs, almost three years ago at a workshop through the First Wave program. Was randomly in the bay area judging a debate tournament at Berkeley, hit Diggs up and he scooped me up from my fancy hotel lookin BAY'ED out and took me right to the GetBack Studio. His rythyms are unmatchable, his care for substance filled lyrics over rhyme scheme, his theatrical delivery all drew me to his music. This album was definitely worth waiting for.
